Better Future State

AI is going to change the world massively.

We believe this with great conviction and feel it is our responsibility as builders and technologists to shape this change for the better. Both utopian and dystopian futures are possible when it comes to AI. We're committed to the utopian vision - to the better future state.

Today, BFS is a small team of experts operating at the cutting edge of AI. We leverage this tech to have an outsized impact while retaining the agility and efficiency of a small & passionate group. Small teams doing big things.

Reimagining Work

AI promises the largest productivity gains we've seen in generations. But what does this actually look like? How does this manifest across thousands of professions each with their own ways of working? BFS is building the systems that usher in this transition and guide it towards a more fulfilling future. Tools that put people-work ahead of paperwork. Intuitive interfaces that eliminate soul-crushing drudgery. Work is going to change in the years ahead and we want to guide that transition to a more rewarding future state.

Foundational Tooling

Big changes require lots of building, and having the right tools makes that construction possible. We want to equip builders (ourselves included) to have an outsized impact on the world around them. We're smithing the hammers and chisels of the AI future.

Exploring New Frontiers

The world that exists today will look vastly different to the world of the future. Some throughlines will persist, but new paradigms will also emerge that are completely novel to what we could have imagined previously. Pairing an anthropological eye with an engineering mindset we want to unearth those paradigms and bring them to life. Uncovering new value in overlooked domains.

These themes all orbit the same intention: we want to guide how AI evolves because we know that the form it takes and the way it's distributed will have massive impacts on society. In some instances, our initiatives will have an immediate path to impact. In others, we play the long game. In both, our commitment is the same - leverage the most powerful technology this world has ever seen to build a better future state.
